I am sitting here by the waters edge enjoying watching the ski boats and a sailing boat out on the water and the kids playing in the water. Life doesn't get much better than this. It was great to catch up with everyone at Glenelg's happy hour yesterday. Cheers Colleen
Certainly is beautiful here Colleen. Sorry I missed you.
I'm staying another night, they will close the gates tomorrow, a lot have left already but a lot of day trippers. Nice relaxing day.
I've pinched Glenelg's spot for the next 24 hours, giving Daisy more space to run around.
I left all my rubbish with a sign saying contaminated there , it was all gone when I came back . Thanks Marg ???. Had to come back so fast coach didn't nick it
All GN members here are fine but a family next to the ramp on left side not so lucky, they will get it sorted much better today though I think. Roads are muddy again as we got heaps of rain in a few hours. I managed to fill 3 buckets and a big washing basin with nice clean water to go in my tanks. I could of got that all again but ran out of containers.

Was intending to come back today after tyre work at Beaurepaires. Maybe not and lucky I wasn't in my usual spot by the sound of things.
Might come for a look this arvo.
Apparently Lake Cooper is now full of water and someone camping near there on a farm had to leave their car at the gate and slide in through the mud..........

Hope there's a nice waterfront site available for us on Thursday. Probably have to look at going East. The Western sites will be too cut up. Was going to be tomorrow but Pip wasn't organised enough. He couldn't decide which toys to bring. I have made him a boat to go out on the lake in. He thinks it's pretty good while its sitting on our deck. We'll see when there's water underneath.

You are partly correct Judy, they were camping near Lake Cooper, that looks like the far end at Greens as some idiot decided to take their 4x4 and dig up all the back roads....again. They can't help themselves.

You are correct there Judy, They are very good friends of mine, It is on Private Property owned by their family, I have also camped there with them !
They Left Camp in the morning, to spend the day in Echuca, When they left. Lake Cooper was bone dry, and the road in was Dust !! Then the Rains came ! and upon their return Well the pictures tell the story,That first picture is Lake Cooper With Water, !! As Glenelg said. Prior to the rain it was dust,
They had no drama's just walked to the Van, You can just see in the distance of last photo, Had a hot shower, went to bed, And by early arvo next day was dry enough to get the car, So all was good in the end !!
