Not a bad idea - not sure we have those joiners in Bunnings however - his ones just seemed to slip together easily. It would be great in a pop-up ensuite as using the ones on a plastic pipe ends up with you dropping the shower head and losing water. Thanks for posting
Another set up they sell a shower with 12 volt pump and on off switch in camping stores like BCF from $18 to $25. A shower head clip for attachment to a tent awning pole for around $3.00 all you need now is the bucket or creek . I attach a small 7amp/hour battery from my fish finder and I'm up and running . All comes in a small waterproof bag.

The other problem with them all is that the pump fails when water eventually gets into the motor. We always try to dry the unit but you cannot always be sure.
Yep hako, your right there, we carry a spare but I am happy to get twelve months showering out of one, did have one that failed after a short period, luck of the draw!

For a lateral thinker like you the installation of a shower head holder from Bunnings shouldn't be a big ask . At 20 bucks a unit a spare pump won't screw the budget . There are also those thermal black water bag showers for $9.00 they also work well but you need to raise the head to stop the flow and better if used outdoors. I carry both when going native

When the pump dies, which it will, just replace the pump part with a small 12 volt bildge pump that's has a stainless steel shaft and it will go forever. Or until some low life knocks it off from your shower tent, probably to have his first shower in twelve months.

Plastic black solar shower bag on roof of car. over rear door (Patrol/ute etc.)
Also a length of 4in/6in sewer pipe with blanker on one end with tap screwed into run shower hose and rose from that
90deg bend up, on other end with screw cap to fill. Paint mat black and check water temp b4 you get under. They get hot.
Pipe clamp to side of racks in roof. one side for drinking water or rods. Other side H/Water for shower and/or dishes. Just wear bathers if anybody around.
PS.
With those 4.5ltr pumps. Mount them with pump head DOWN. motor on top.
Water doesn't normally get through seal so quickly then

We used an 8lt garden sprayer when the kids were younger. Fill it with warm water, pump it up and set the spray to suit. Good water saver. 8 litres did the three kids. Kept them clean and amused - not to mention totally weed free!
Not hard to rig it up in a shower tent, tree or the like.
Just a bit of repurposing again....
