We also spent a couple of weeks there at Kinka and loved it, it's central too, so much to do.  We had our bikes with us and rode to Emu Park and Rosslyn Bay, the people up there are warm and inviting, we loved the seafood restaurant in Rosslyn Bay, we found the locals and businesses  up there very tourist friendly and patient.

The drive to Yeppoon was quick and uncomplicated with lots to see and do, the new pool area was amazing!
