Barn Hill Station South of Broome

Some shots from our last stay.  It was HOT!  Fruit Bats were suffering and cattle were coming in to the camp area to drink from the sprinklers.  Sadly we found four dead bats after one hot day, and one flew to ground under the spray from the sprinkler and licked water from its wing membrane.  It survived.  A couple of shots show the Managers, Steve and Gary pushing the cattle away from campers.  The cattle did not look threatening at all, but they are not predictable so it was best to move them on.

Fabulous spot there. I camped in the unpowered area. Just loved the toilet and shower set up with the solar powered black pipe arrangement. Don't think I could handle it this time of year though..

Love all the pics, but not wanting to Change the direction, just an observation, is no 10 Tony Abbott?
