Cruise Master Airbag suspension

Hi , Has anyone done the Gibb River Road on airbag suspension ? & on tamden axles how often are the hinge points to be greased. Also tyre pressure over dirt roads. I watch the Retreat Caravan 10 part video on YouTube and he's talking 35 to 40 psi ?

Any suggestion ?

It depends on how many AH your battery is, but I'd go for a 120W panel and a PWM controller...

I'm not convinced... I reckon with 35 to 40 PSI ya'd be better off with an MPPT controller

I think they are trying to say you will get a better response in the "general" section of the techie section and not the solar section

Troopy, Matt, Woody, there is a word for people like you and it is not complementary.

Cheers,

Yes , so instead of being smart alecs why dont they just say that .......

With only 12 posts Ronald is clearly not experienced with the forum and deserves a little more respect and tolerance than that .

Seriously,

We (I'm sure all three of us) were just funnin'...

Even if this was Ronald's *first* post, he posted what was clearly a question about vehicle suspension in a forum section clearly dedicated to solar tech. That's not an "understandable mistake because he's unfamiliar with this forum". It's an out-and-out mistake. Maybe he was drunk. Maybe he should just give up using forums or the Internet in general (well before he mistakenly emails pics of his genitalia to his mum instead of his gal). But most likely he's just human like the rest of us and had a momentary "brain fart"

I'm guessing it was just a trivial mistake, so we trivially (and purely in jest / fun) found a way of making light of it. Nobody put a gun to his head over it.

Lighten up. If Ronald deserves a little more respect and tolerance, then what are we - chopped liver? At least we simply made a little fun of it ("it" - not "him"). We didn't call (or imply) him names or berate him. Sheesh...

Why is this under the 'solar power' section.

Sheesh Peter was a bit of fun no insults intended or given lighten up a bit and if you care to go to the intro forum you will see that I welcomed him and mentioned that there are a few jokers here as well can't see your welcome to him there
Given that ronaldjd has not commented surgests the to me he has a sense of humour ( I hesitate to add) unlike some on this forum it would seem

I grease our cruise master bushes rarely as they are really very tight interference fits. A very small amount of grease does the job.

We have air bag cruisemaster suspension on our current van and give the Greece nipples a squirt every year it doesn't take much apparatly ,we get the full suspension serviced every year peace of mind I recon . As far as pressure in the tyres I reduce down to 25-30 depending on the condition of the road .
