Aux Power Pack

Out riding the trails with the son in law and when we stopped for an overnight camp in the scrub his bike wouldn't start in the morning .  After a lot of uphill down hill pushing we got it started and headed home.  Thought to myself I'll get one of those Mini Max battery packs about the size of a mobile phone to overcome the same problem in the future .  Have thought again  after ringing the  only order line at  $298.00 but, if I buy two then I'll get a third one free  just what we need Three of the same thing .  Think I'll wait till they come into the Reject Shop as most of the gear you see on the shopping channels does eventually .

If you believe  the sale pitch  then they are a good thing for remote area travel  .

Does anyone have one and are you happy with it .

I was also thinking of buying one but did some research and found that there are so many negative reviews decided not to.

The main complaint was the limited charging of the device. Two or three charges and then not being able to recharge it.
Also some complaints regarding it causing / catching fire.

Cheers
