Fishing Lures From Paint Brushes

If your looking for something to fill in your idle hours on cold days try making fishing lures from old paint brushes   Any lateral thinking should be able to shortcut the process this bloke drags out it out a bit .    I would use a spray can of estapol to final coat it  as the epoxy  just adds to the cost and manufacturing mess and if you lose lures on big fish  or rocks why make it more expensive than absolutely necessary, the last lure I purchased of that size was around $10.00,   6 months back they were about $4.50  .  The tape pattern you can get with metal flyscreen and a roller and the tape is metal insulation tape  you can get from Bunnings

Hi wombat,

in 2010 Exmouth WA we ran out of hot Marlin skirts. We went to the $2 shop that was there then. We got these kids dancing baterns x 3 sets and put old used skirts over the top.

We hooked three little Black Marlin before we ran into schools of Wahoo. All over red rover.lorrys 140.jpgDSCN1886.JPG
