no but we had trouble with our Jayco Heritage and Stirling. We found that we had to run the filling side up onto the levellers, open the taps and fill slowly - that may help - I'm sure there are lots of threads about this problem.

If the air can not get out, the water can not get in.
Check that you have decent vents.

Hi Gazza, I recently had problems filling my water tanks. Normally they fill without any trouble when have the hose on a very low flow.

The last time I filled them (it just wasn't happening ), so I fired up my compressor and blew out the little vent holes. The water normally comes out through them when the tank is full, all vents were blocked (maybe spiders or something ).

I have a sterling with the same problem, there are lots of restrictions in the filler line , the main filler hose is 25mm id. 3x 90 deg. bends and the final bit at the tank is 15mm id. and then the tank fills from the bottom meaning the water level in the tank is above the filling point. this creates a seal stopping any air coming out and the water to back up the hose giving you the blow back. easy way of checking the vents is to take a piece of hose and stick one end in your mouth and hold the other against the vent and blow..
you will probably hear air bubbles in the vent but you will be able to blow through it. the vents always have some water in them as the vent is also the overflow don't worry about it (its a friend ) my cure was to take a 15mm rubber chair leg foot and with a sharp blade cut thin pieces off .. the bottom until you find the opening. now I remove the fittings off my hose (food grade) and slip the rubber foot piece onto the hose blunt end first . run it up about 150 mm.. you can put the fittings back on when in a caravan park or remove them when filling tanks.. when filling tanks insert the hose until the rubber just seals off the entrance not to tight as we don't want any pressure build up
now I control the water by crimping the hose and when the first water goes in you will hear it fart in the tank as it flows in and this is where our friend the bubbles come in...
as the water flows in you will hear the bubbles in the vent and they change tune as the water nears full be ready to stop the water and pull the hose out as the water comes out of the vent ,, hope this helps travel safe

Use a hose that does not have any fittings on the end. Stick the hose down the filler tubes 100 to 200 mm.

I use this fitting on a piece of hose around 400 mm long. I click the fitting onto my water hose and stick the other end down the filler pipe. Works for me.

Over the yrs we've had a few.
some easy to fill, some. "not friendly".

If one of those I just go to tap on drawbar or cold water supply tap INLET t o caravan.

Turn on kitchen tap and turn on water supply.
Vent through tap and puts water into sink when full.

I haven't used one of those screw on tank filler caps for yrs

Addendum to above post.
Cut a taper on outlet end of hose piece and feel around inside till you find the actual supply pipe going down to tank.
Rather than just swirling water around in receiver at top.

We had issues with a Jayco which had 2 tanks. Issue was the overflow/air escape pipe. It had drooped down between the 2 tanks and had water in it. This wouldn't allow the air to escape when filling the tank. So used a P clamp and screwed it up to the floor and heh presto the air escaped and I could fill the tank quite quickly!

I had the same problem with my Silverline caused by water getting into the venting pipe. I bought some plastic tubing from Bunnings the same size as the air venting holes and now insert that into the vent and blow the water back down the tube into the tank. Problem solved,just needs a bit of huff and puff.
