I feel like Steven Spielberg must have felt when his first commercial movie was released at the box office because today I've just posted my video from our recent camping trip and I share 24 hacks for winter camping. Great little video. It's great to see something about teardrop campers on here as it's the first reference I've seen since recently joining this site. I'm about to start traveling soon, when my teardrop gets finished and I can pick it up.

Hi Hannie - I got a Nomad model from the Teardrop Camper Company - very happy with it - had it a bit over a year now and done a few trips - awnings have been my big problem - the initial ones I bought were for attaching to a 4WD with suction caps and as my TD is vinyl covered on the roof they won't stick. So then went to a fox wing awning as Frank the builder created these roof racks that fold up to increase the headroom under the awning (as the TD is low). I had a Kings on the other side. On my first trip using them, they were damaged by a sort of gale that blew through Temora, and replaced by insurance. I got a different model of foxwing because after that experience I wanted legs that could be staked into the ground making it much more secure and more secure against taking flight again. My other special skill seems to be killing batteries, although I think my first battery (replaced by the supplier) was faulty from the beginning - last trip I hooked up my solar panels incorrectly and managed to run the battery flat - I've to it at home on a charger but will need to take it into an auto electrician to determine if it's still good or not.
