Recently it went to switch on the hot water system, and found the on/off switch behind the outside cover was stuck in the off position, so I sprayed some lanolin oil on the switch and surrounding area and operated the switch a few times and found it was moving again.so I turned on the system and found the water heated up as per normal . The following morning after I had a shower I noticed the water did not reheat until I pushed the reset button , then I could hear the unit working again, I checked over a couple of days and found that every time the heater had heated up the water to the correct temp and the thermostat had cut of the power to the heating element it would not reheat the water unlit I pushed the reset button . Could anyone give me advice as to what the fault could be .
Now that you have introduced yourself in a previous post it would be better to pop your question in the 'Techies' section of this great forum. You will get a much better response. Also it would be a good idea to do a search as this has been discussed many times mate. The blue line above 5 different things listed to help move around the forum, click on search and go from there.
Good luck with all.
