Camec 25L 900w microwave

Has anyone had a problem with the power setting of this microwave oven.

In the past I have put a cup of cold milk in the oven for two minutes on the default power setting (100%) and it would be too hot to drink, now since my last move yesterday it comes out barely luke warm and you can hear the oven when it is working it doesn't sound like it used to.

I have turned the power off in the hope that it would reset and tried every possible way of setting it but it still isn't cooking at full power.

How old is the microwave? My experience over the years in the house is when it starts to make noises it is normally time to look for a new one.

The van was bought new in February 2015 and prior to the last move which was only 20kms on the black ribbon there hasn't been any problem.

The noise is less than usual, not unlike when the oven is set on a lower power rating and you hear it change between power levels, but this is continuous and doesn't change for the whole cooking time.

Sorry I can not help futher, inregards to your ants have you tried a couple of moth balls in a small container with plenty of holes in it to let the fumes out. I have found that this works in my power board at home and the bore switch ( loose balls ) which they love. Cheers

I guess it could be a controller problem only switching to the low setting.
