water tank fitted to a troopy

I am considering fitting a water tank underneath my vehicle (troopcarrier). Anyone done a similar thing - would be interested in hearing how you got on - who you used and approximate costs.

Thank you in advance.

You can go the steel ones that cost a fortune,
or go on net and look at the plastic ones that fit under tray. on tray on floor inside cab, behind seats.
and a third the price of steel ones. plus lighter.
They do water and fuel..

If you are looking at a metal tank be it Alloy or Stainless Steel it would be probably have to be custom made and that will cost some hard earned dough.

If you have a place under the vehicle, measure the area and see if you can find a plastic tank of a size that fits, you will definitely save money.

Where are you.
I have 4 or 5 Food grade stainless sheets that could be trimmed and welded into tank.
I'll never use them now and about to clear shed. I paid $25 for them at market yrs ago.
Just cost you the welding, trimming and a coupla folds.
