Range Hood.

Hi Fellow Members, My query is,is it necessary or preferable to take out the range hood filters and clean them, similar

to what you would do with your filters at home?i have a 2010 Jayco discovery poptop and was wondering if it is i a simple job to do.thankssmilesmile

Hot soapy water. Soak and scrub.
same as at home.

Look at your model/make on net. it'll tell you how.

An awful lot of the filters are made from aluminium. Once they are out I sprinkle mine with Bicarb and then use lemon juice or vinegar.Works for me.

Definitely the dish washer when you get home, cleans them up like new!

I found the dishwasher effects the aluminium filters - sort of eating into the surface - soaking in hot soapy (use laundry powder) water is easiest.
