Won't be long now and the supposedly Greens Free-Loaders will start settling in for their 5-6 month stay, I myself do not understand this migration for long periods of time, yes it is a nice spot for a few days especially in the off season, but for months on end you must truly be cheap skates to do that. And what about all the wonderful places you are foregoing just to stay at one spot.
This will be interesting. I've never stayed great lengths of time but frequent Greens regularly over the summer.
Maybe as I was the originator or maybe you could say instigator of the very first grey nomads get together there at Greens Lake, do I take all the blame.
Nah! Don't think so. Where's my popcorn.
Shut the front gate! Why post something nasty like this thread???????
Everyone has their own way of travelling around this great country, if they choose to stay in one place for a while so be it. Who are we to hang s..t on them or even worst post things like the topic of this thread. I do things my way, you do things your way and that couple over there do it their way. The main thing is we enjoy how and what we do to the fullest and not post threads like this.
I won't waist my money on popcorn and I tell you that for free.
Thank goodness the majority of members of this forum are nice people and I have met many and look forward to meeting many more but wouldn't bother with the others.

The Victorians go to north Queensland for the winter with a $5 note. then return south with their $5 note plus a doggy bag. That keeps them going while they are at greens for the summer.
Now let the fun begin.

And you know that's a load of bullcrap Phillipn. Every payday groceries, fuel, medicines etc etc.
Then you have the major purchases like car service, breakdowns and anything else you want to sdd in here.
Now for the OP who started this topic. Been on here only a short while. No real name ane no home town. This person is running incognito to stir the pot. He/she better not come to Greens while I'm there.

Popcorns going well Phillipn. Still got my sense of humour and a lot more with the interesting year I'm going through.
Sometimes, just sometimes these frequent sayings tend to stick in ones craw.

You did say this topic would be interesting. Just be careful with those popcorns , they can get stuck in your craw.
Gees I'd rather eat card board than popcorn, do we all have to eat popcorn, nah didnt think so, as I especially like the type of cardboard that is glued together with the wiggly bit in the middle to make it stronger the glue is really nice and the worms like it too, sometimes I have to put them on a diet cos they get too fat, the worms that is just in case you were wondering Doug.
Oh and I happen to agree with dougs first post
Everyone is different some like it long some like it short .
