Recommendations of a quiet gas heater

Brrr. I am looking for advice on an installed gas heater. Brands, sources.

Advice generally but in particular I want to ensure that it is not too noisy inside for me and outside for other campers.

I am guessing that it wold need to be sitted by a licensed gasfitter or signed off by one if I were to install it myself. Correct?

It'd be nice if it did not cost a mortgage too.

Truma e2400.On ebay from about $1500. I installed myself, very straight forward and got gassie to sign off. Hardly heard at about 3mtrs outside and only fan speed inside. Pm if you want some more advice and pics.

cheers end-on

ps   there is a planar model but it is a bit louder.

Yes, I agree. We have the Truma E2400 installed and was done professionally for just under $2000. Works wonderfully and very quiet outside . Be aware that it will usually be installed under the bed so you will lose storage space.

Another vote for Trauma E2400. I have one and it is very quite and efficient.
