Depends on where you are. Some have toilets, some have showers as well but they are rare.
Most are just bush camps with a nice spot to park.
For example Fletchers creek camp in Qld has cold showers toilets, water tap and a dump point. Then you get a camp like Archer creek(qld) which has toilets and a clear running creek for water.
The camps series of books give details of what is at each spot. Some are just roadside rest areas with no facilities at all.
hope that helps
Frank

As KFC said, some have something and others have nothing. I use both as I have my own on board loo and shower so all good. I very rarely use the loos at rest stops etc anyway, like my own.
In addition to the 'camps' book check out 'Wiki camps' for you phone or poota etc. For around $8 it has maps, coordinates, comments and pics about each site, good buy.
Keep Safe on the roads and out there.

Agree with both KFT and Dougwe
WikiCamps Australia can be downloaded for a one off fee of less than $8 It tells you what is in each individual camp, and also has comments from the folks who have visited that particular camp
Camps Australia Wide (up to the 8th revision) gives details of all camps, pay/low cost/free, and gives details of what amenities are in those camps Plus it is handy to use as a map
