On Demand Hot water

Gooday, just wondering if anyone has retro fitted a On Demand hot water system or has a van with one in it, I fitted a cheapy from Ebay to an older van years ago but was looking at the new Truma units.

Hi.
I've had a couple.

The one I've just fitted to my 535 is a cracker.
One of the better ones.

Just don't fit the cheap water pumps.
They don't give a decent pressure for shower,
ok with mains.

$375 del.
A few van parks use them too.

JOOLCA "HOTTAP"

Go on net and read reviews.

Agree mate, Hottap are good. Plus I use their Joolca en-suite.

We had the Girard instantaneous unit fitted and plumbed into our van. Can't fault it.

Only uses gas when the hot tap is turned on saving having to heat up storage type units and no anode.

The water temp can be controlled easily by how fast the tap is turned on and this we reckon works great at the sink and outside shower.

Cheers
Vince

The Hot tap is one step up.
Has rotating dial to control gas flow and water flow independantly.

I've seen photos of camping parks with them set up as shower units with tents to suit.
