Roof top A/C

Has any one had a Denso roof top A/C fitted to their van. If so are they any quieter than the Dometic, Ibis and others. Would love to get something a little les noisy. Phil

I have a Denso unit, have had for 2 years and very happy with it servicing 22' van. I have no experience with other brands however mine is not particularly noisy at all (can sleep with it on, no problem) however my van has a full plywood roof covered with fibre glass which will support 3 men standing on it so I would think that vans with aluminium roofs may suffer from more noise due to sound resonate issues. In conclusion i am very satisfied and highly recommend. Denso received the Australasian Design Excellence Award for this unit which prompted my to try it initially. The much lower height of the unit on the roof is a real plus.

Cheers Allen

If you have room for a household SPLIT unit..

Fit one.
They 1000% better than any old gen caravan Air cond's. and only half the price.
LG have a good mobile name.
