2nd row seat compliance

Hi, can anyone enlighten me on the requirements for putting 2 extra seats behind the driver in a volkswagon crafter. I am told i need baby seat anchor points, trouble is that the shower is about 100mm behind the 2 extra seats and there is no where to put the anchor points except on the floor straight down from the back of the seat.

You will have to get a engineer to tell you how he wants it done so he will approve it so that it is legal

That will not be easy. Must be fitted to the code and as mentioned , engineered. State authority will need to bo notified and approve. If you really need the seats consider cbanging over to a more suitable car. Could be cheaper and less of a headache in the long run.

I wouldnt do anything untill you speak to the local gov authority.
