I do, on our boat on flat concrete pad in the cave on my own. However I can't move the boat / Van on our driveway due in part to it been Stamped with a patterned concrete.
Has anyone used larger wheels to overcome the rippled concrete effect?????
My last drive was steep with a kink at halfway point.
I had an electric 4wd winch at rear of van bay. with a open sheave block just past turning point to rear. Dragged boat and van to turning point. Chock wheels. Slacken\take rope off half cheek block,
and turn then tow whichever? to parking spot. reversible winch. Just reverse the process for taking out.
Slow. but one man job and NO physical weight\pressures on you. 2 chocks. Dynabolt to suit. 1\2 cheek block of weight req'd anchor plate and winch to suit, Mine second hand winch off 4wd. $250.
AND SAFE... Well within weight limits. and capacity of blocks and sheave.
Ex 42 ft ocean yacht. 16mm blocks\sheaves with spare roll of 16mm sheets braid.
