Nah.

Just ONE whiskey glass.

and a woman driver..

Always drinkies time then.

Hey
Recently bought a bottle of Taliskers 12yr single. 46% proof.

It's both less costly and nicer tasting than the 15yr..

The 18yr is something else again. But the wrong side of $250.

HEYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY..
How about we start a whiskey tasting forum.

Different palates. on same liquids. See who likes what.

Me. For a daily splosh on 2 ice.
I find "Old McTavish". Cheap, sweet, with no afterburn.

I drink it rather than Johnny red or Black.

Double Black not bad but not worth the $$$'s.

Same with the blue. In wrong price bracket.
The Green nice.

Another. Really nice drop I found by accident.
is Glenfarclas 15 yr. Single malt

But Again,at 46% drop a bit of ice in there first.

Next........

There must be a coupla Scotsmen here somewhere.
From a Geordie lad.

Hey CC.

I've taken to using those double wall glasses.
2 cubes ice. shot and a bit of liquid.
Stays nice and cooold for much longer.
Smooths the drink out nicely.

The only spirt I drink these days my friend is G and T with the missus. A couple each summer and remembering living and sailing on the yacht in Darwin. Drank to heavey in my youth and only through a good doctor and her constant nagging am I still here.

Maybe a beer in hot weather but enjoy my red wine.

Look forward to the day we can down and toast each other with our favorite contens. Cheers and Merry Christmas.

CC.
Similar upbringing???.

Lived next to brewery wall as a kid.
Got very personal with beer by time I was 12.

Got liking for good Brandy in Army.
Stopped drinking at 21 yrs.
Carton a week plus probably another coupla bottles over NAAFI bar.
We go on very well together.

Didn't drink then for 45 or so yrs.
Future wife and ultimatum. Me or it ! ! !
I chose the three kids and 9 Granddaughters route.

Good bottle Port lasts x-mas to X-mas.
a bottle of good scotch lasts 12 to 60 days.
or I can leave it for 12months.

Have good control over it now. Nowadays.
Never more than a measured shot in glass with ice
Never more than 2 a day.
On a Bad days.

I took it up to cover the pills (boosts them)
and actually REALLY helps.

Small glass, reasonable nip, 2 blocks ice.
