Kelvinator split system

IMG_0209.JPG

yehaaa got the air on going yesterday arvo. 2.5 kelvin actor split inverter . Run it yesterday but today after coming back from fishing della wanted to finish the washing  cranked it up on park power . When she finished I switched over to batteries .

With 2 12 volt compressor fridges 1 12 volt fan tv and the little computer fridges I have for Kooning different things it pulling 25 amps in round figures . Bouncing from 18 to 23 amps . So with 400 amps 80% usable and 1150 wat of solar were really happy and della can have a bit of relief with her lymphodema stocking and let's say I can stay kool to . IMG_0210.JPG

Looks real neat there mate.
Good brand too.

Worth their weight in gold when working proper like.

I think I'd be making up and bolting\welding on a deflector rail
around it's perimeter though.

You won't be the first to misjudge backing into or somebody backing into your rear.

Specially those posts and trees.
Them things grow legs at slightest provocation hey.

And even though the inside unit is under the bed the remote works from in bed hahaha.

Now you've had a practice run you can come and fit one to the Mazda eh  A very neat job Officer Dibble, how does it go getting the hot air from close to the ceiling back down and into the intake on the inside unit if it's under the bed? Do you vent the hot air out through a 4 seasons hatch or similar or does the air mix enough to not end up with sweaty hair and frozen feet confuse

Still working on that terry at the moment got a 12 volt fan blowing it round . But it sort of like that cold feet and warm head lmdo . I need a temp gauge to do the diferences .

I would think it would rely a lot on insulation.
Better it is.
Better it will keep cold in and slowly rising to level req'd?.

Just thunkin'.

One of reasons I'm laying cork tiles on floor.
Sound. softness and insulation. Plus looks nice (I think)

Tried to lay tiles this arvo. nix.
Sweating that much I was washing freshly glued floor with it.
B4 adding tiles.
4 to 8 am job methink's.

Cut a sheet of old stove and glued and screwed it down getting a ltr or so of the sealer paint I used to seal it up but no leaks as yet and had a good storm last night.
The old one I scrapped using the old mounts for this one .

John  a standard 14" hatch will fill the hole left from the rooftop rattlers.  The best option is a Fantastic hatch or similar, great to bring air in or vent out and runs on 12vdc very economically.
