yehaaa got the air on going yesterday arvo. 2.5 kelvin actor split inverter . Run it yesterday but today after coming back from fishing della wanted to finish the washing cranked it up on park power . When she finished I switched over to batteries .
With 2 12 volt compressor fridges 1 12 volt fan tv and the little computer fridges I have for Kooning different things it pulling 25 amps in round figures . Bouncing from 18 to 23 amps . So with 400 amps 80% usable and 1150 wat of solar were really happy and della can have a bit of relief with her lymphodema stocking and let's say I can stay kool to .
And saved 6 kgs m88888888888888888 .its a real eye opener the difference a sound temp and power usage . Love it .
And even though the inside unit is under the bed the remote works from in bed hahaha.
Now you've had a practice run you can come and fit one to the Mazda eh  A very neat job Officer Dibble, how does it go getting the hot air from close to the ceiling back down and into the intake on the inside unit if it's under the bed? Do you vent the hot air out through a 4 seasons hatch or similar or does the air mix enough to not end up with sweaty hair and frozen feet

Still working on that terry at the moment got a 12 volt fan blowing it round . But it sort of like that cold feet and warm head lmdo . I need a temp gauge to do the diferences .
Cut a sheet of old stove and glued and screwed it down getting a ltr or so of the sealer paint I used to seal it up but no leaks as yet and had a good storm last night.
The old one I scrapped using the old mounts for this one .
what did you do with the old one I presume you took it out If so what and how did you fix the hole with
Cheers John
John a standard 14" hatch will fill the hole left from the rooftop rattlers. The best option is a Fantastic hatch or similar, great to bring air in or vent out and runs on 12vdc very economically.
