G'day. I was wondering if there is anyone out there with a 2015 MQ Mitsubishi Triton that has had the Stone Stomper fitted? As I am not sure which type of Bar option I need to fit across the back of the tub with the current shortish tongue, do I need to get a longer tongue or perhaps fit another type to suit.
I think you will find that Stone Stomper have several alternate systems including some that are attached under your hitch/towball. Email the photo to them for comment. They are very helpful. Cheers, Bob
Thanks Brownie2. I did send all pics and measurements to them. I do not want to change the tow system to suit the Stone Stomper if possible. My issue is that the Mitsubishi genuine tow tongue is a bit too short to fit the Angled bracket and they are suggesting I get a longer tongue. I was hoping someone else had similar issues and could steer me in the right direction- my budget is limited to say the least.
Hi Bon, you could run into issues putting a longer tow tongue on you vehicle. My new Isuzu has a short tow tongue. In the destruction manual it gives max dimensions for tow ball distance from diff/rear wheels. This balance point will change if you fit a longer toe tongue causing all sorts of warranty/insurance issues if something bends/breaks. Just a thought anyway.

Hi there Froggos. Good point. I shall hit the books to see if mine has the same issues. The people at Stone Stompers suggested it and I spoke ti ARB and they are ok with it also, but just in case.....
Now if I just had a spare $138,000 I could get me a Landcruiser....:)
