9. Don't be a whinger

Cryptic posts of the "Some people aren't worthy of a place in your heart" variety. Moans about failed parcel deliveries. Rants about other drivers cutting you up or shoddy customer service at Ikea... Save them for friends and family, rather than inflicting it on distant acquaintances who'll just think you're a sook.

 

"8. Social media is not a search engine

Can anyone recommend a good hotel or tradesman? Is the train strike still on? What's the weather going to be like this weekend? Google it."

 Here's an example that we have a laugh about.

A young woman in her 30's that we know posted a photo of herself in her underwear showing EVERYONE how overweight she currently was. She told the whole world that she was ''going to lose lots of weight & get skinny''.

Now a year later she's even fatter than before. Basically she's made a complete idiot of herself.

G'Day Santa - my favourite is number 10 "Put. The. Phone. Down." ......interesting list but if we were all perfect and never committed any or all of those 10 sins it would be a pretty boring world and certainly this forum would not exist. What would we talk about when we visit the barber, pub etc. Sure are some home truths there however.
