I have a Safety Dave camera fitted to my van which up until this trip was working very well. Hooked up yesterday to leave on a trip and the monitor is blacked out nothing working. Has anyone had this problem before or know of a fuse or something else that may be the problem. The camera came premiered with the van and I had the monitor wired by an auto electrician only 3 months ago so the set up should be fine. We are currently sitting in a CP in Hallidays Point would like to try and get it working before we head back home next week.
If there is a plug at camera end of system (not soldered).
That's the joint I've seen cause problems mostly.
The rear end tends to bounce more than the front.
Thanks guys for the advice, I have found the problem when spraying wd40 on the connections. It seems I may have bent some pins when pushing the plug into the socket on the dash - now it will be a visit to an auto electrician to replace the connection if I can find one locally.
