Solar Cubes and alternatives.

looking at that page on "solar cubes"

There are also Squared. cone types, where they are a tapered cone.

which. in ideal conditions giving 1kw per sq metre.

Allowing for shadows.

They could be a big improvement on flat

but haven't seen much on them lately?.

Would be Fine for fixed bases. (Homes\factory's etc)

But these new ones.

Depending on physical size. vertical and sq areas.

Possibly make one or two, drop down for travelling.

with little motor\gearbox to extend up and lock when parked.

ALONG with several flat ones installed to give mobile input too??.

There are also double sided panels too. Raised and reflecting amp's from both faces.

They work,  not 100% from both faces. But more than a single face.

I have a wind Genny from yacht in shed too (for over 16 yrs)

Sould really set that up to feed boat battery's with the 40w panel left there.

One Day hey.  I Keep talking about it.

Sorry Pete.
Just meaning that page on here talking about the stacked.? Concertina looking, panels.

If they could be made reclining with little motor on roof, for travelling.
and mixed with flat panels for power input while travelling.
They could be an interesting concept.

Those Conical 1mtr sq. 1 kw units (V3 Solar.) Read up on them, Past the Cynisism.
were a few yrs ago on latest Solar news mags on net.
I often follow those things to try and keep up.
They were still in the Concept. trial stages back then..

Same as those NEW Water?\liquid based power Storage packs I was reading about recently.
I'll try to find again
Much higher storage cap, than the latest alternatives in battery form.
Price of lithium etc.
I think I'd be waiting awhile.
There was a liquid storade electrical energy conceptcoupla yrs ago, had a bit of promise.

Main Problems are finances to develop such. and probably Power Co's buying them out.
Like the oil company's DON'T Ha.
