Love nice fresh soft Licorice Allsorts as well. Never tried them with coffee though. Will do next time.

"Yum" Yep yum is a good word. Only these days the licorice causes a bit of a problem so don't get to enjoy as many. Nice with a cup of Earl Grey tea too.

Have you noticed you don't get as much licorice these days? I remember many moons back licorice was both ends, not now.

Forget the Coffee or Tea - just pigging out on Allsorts is Heavenly - I Particularly like the ones covered in blue hundreds and thousands.

Dougwe - That's what I thought too the candy was sandwiched between licorice slices. I suppose it's an economy thing.

I normally buy those $2 bags in IGA.

reason being, they small. contain my greed.
They are good with Coffee. and a glass of Port.

AlSO.
Coles supply of dark Choc coated twisted licorice sticks.
Same Price.
are OOOOOOOH. with a glass of Single Mait
or the J Walker double Black. That's quite sweet for a mixer.

But $70 a bottle on local special. Brings it into the cheaper Single Malts.
Taliskers 10 yr for $80 on shelf beside it.
45% to 40%. and absolutely NO comparison.
Like Lolly water.(the J.W.)

People should try that Taliskers, 10 or 15yr.
A Scottish Single at 45%.
and one of the lesser known but better tasting liquids around.
Not so Peaty.
Coupla ace chips in there or it hits.

Another nice one I have here is Glenfarclas. 15yr, also 45%.
They reckon the 10yr is as good and a lot cheaper.
Next bottle.

Ah yes.
Licorice Allsorts and mixing.

With. without. still the best.
Next to Salted Caramel Ice cream.

Jesus. That stuff really is HEAVEN on a spoon. (or shovel)

Wonder where my 114 kg's comes from hey. WITH the big smile.

aww Only thing wrong with liquorice allsorts is that they evaporate as soon as the packet is opened

I open the packet, grab a handful, and then whoosh, they are all gone aww

My packets seem to evaporate before I even get to open them. They are usually only half full.

Cheers, John.
