Tamworth 2017 Country and Western Musical Festival

Usual disclaimer that I am not associated with anyone who is selling anything
I am also not a musician

I recommend this venue because both the boss and I, liked it

The biggest little show is situated at the Red Cross House, next to the Hand of Legends car park
The price to park your car is $2.50 (two dollars fifty cents) per day, in this car park

The entry price to the Red Cross House is a gold coin donation

A few pictures will say more than a thousand words
Most if not all of the below artists are singer songwriters
Apologise to those I have missed, as I either do not know their names, or did not have my camera, or the picture did not come out

Below L to R, Sam Lovell and Ginger Cox
Both appeared at the Nambung festival in West Australia last October
Ginger came to Tamworth to be inducted into the Hands of Fame
Wife asked Ginger how he got his nickname, he showed her a picture of when he was young, he had ginger hair
Sam 84 years young has blue eyes. He can trace his English side of his family back further than mine

As a sidenote
Each morning at about 6am, we would go to the car park to get a good spot

For a bit of exercise to my hands, each morning I would pick up the rubbish in the car park, and also in the surrounding Hands of Fame park
On the very last day we went only to the laundromat, around the corner from the Red Cross House

I noticed a man picking up the rubbish and placing it into a large bag, I thought oh oh, I have been doing this bloke out of a job
When we left I noticed that a lot of rubbish was still there, I found out that he was only picking up the aluminium cans
Unfortunately when the boss says that we are going, there is no more time to pick up rubbish

Once again I had a good time at the Tamworth 2018 music festival

Once again I never went anywhere except the Red Cross House, where once again, Ernie Johns from Wedderburn was running the show

It was good entertainment, for a gold coin donation, plus cheap food

Sam Lovell and Ginger Cox, were there again this year 2018

Sam had been crook during the year

Sam and Ginger, both drove across the top, in different vehicles, and went home the same way

Sam is one hardy man
