I was there November 2016, one of the few free camps in the Bunbury area

They ask that you use the local traders, (very, very few of them left these days)

They also ask that you give a donation, (at the local servo) if my memory serves me correctly

If you are in that area, if you go past the Harvey Dickerson place In Boyup Brook, which use to run the Country Western, but now run the Rodeo, you will come to Teacup Cottage

The old gent there has more teacups, than most of us have had cups of tea

He will show you around, and each teacup tells a story

Just moved to Greenbushes free camp and very happy with the setup. It is a very large area with 2 designated camp sites. Both have toilet blocks. We chose to camp in the area furtherest from the hwy. Then there is another free camp site abot 5 klm south from the town and has a good swimming hole.
Well done Greenbushes - happy to make donation and support local businesses.

Hi, we have a friend caapped at Greenbushes at the momet. Vi torian plates, on a blue4wd, tent. Not very tall, Jeff ishis name. Has a "no camping" sign in front o tent. Say g'day, nice guy, say hi from jules and billy!

I think that is the co-ordsfor the Greenbushes Sports Complex. The pool is at:

I was not referring to the pool area. I was referring to the free camp area we have used previously. If you look on Google Earth you will see caravans parked in the general area I gave coordinates for. Near the Tennis courts etc.

I am rather amused at the number of different Co-ords for this site,

I checked Google maps .... got one reference, then went to another forum and got two more references,

I think I will use your first answer, Aussie1,

Going by google maps, it's not a big town, ( that's all the better ) so someone will be able to point us in the right direction.

There is two free/donation camps at Greenbushes. Remember, many campers also refer to the donation camps as free camps and the donation camps are often lumped in with the free camps. There is the Greenbushes Pool and the Greenbushes Sports Complex. None of the replies seemed to be specific as to which they were camping at. That is why I was just pointing out that there are two distinct camps at that location. Both get good write-ups in WikiCamps

Aussie 1's co-ords take you to the tennis courts at the sports complex (probably where someone camped.) The ones from WikiCamps probably take you to where the person who lined up the marker in WikiCamps set up his camp. See this map. It is easy to insert the coordinates into Google Maps and check out where they lead you.

From what I have seen of coordinates, they mostly take you to where someone has set up their camp. I prefer to set up coordinates to the entrance of the camp grounds.
