I will be starting out as a newbie solo traveller in the next month or so, but I am fortunate that I have a rig and will have a home to return to.
It must be terribly hard for those who haven't a home to return to, and now especially losing a partner to illness, you would be excused for asking for lots of support
I hope you get to sort it out, and I am sure, you will get lots of help and good advice here.

Nothing I say can make things better, being with family and keeping busy is the best thing you can do right now....................don't forget to look after yourself!
I am so very sorry for your loss. I hope in time you will find your peace and also the best path for the rest of your life. You have many years left and I hope you find a way to continue to travel. Now is not the time to make big decisions. Lean on your family and friends who are there for you. If you are ever in the Tamworth area, please pm me. Plenty of room here for a visit.
So sorry to hear that news. I'm not one who should be giving advice, so I won't in this situation. The situation is the reverse for me, whilst not terminal, I know my time is approaching and I worry about my wife after I'm gone, hopefully she will join a forum like this, make friends and lean on them as well as family to get her through. Life is just too cruel at times! I belong to a Jayco Penguin forum, one member is in the same situation as you, she sold their caravan and bought a Penguin. She travels quite frequently now and does seem happy. Perhaps you should think about joining this forum also, you can never be a member of too many forums. Best wishes for you and your future.
