Yarraman Qld free camp

1st post for me, so be kind....lol

Rumor has it that a free camp may be setup at Yarraman. (between Toowoomba and Nanango)

No toilet facilities but they can be found just a stroll across the pedestrian bridge, there will be a dump point.

I do have an interest in the project if it goes ahead, here comes the blatant add.

We retired about 14 months ago, did some caravaning up and down the east coast, loved it but we were spending heaps and with nothing going back in, we took the plunge.

From the 24th of April we will have a coffee lounge situated in Yarraman not far from the proposed site,  so we look forward to the new free camp coming and welcoming the RV community to our small township.

We are offering any regular coffee and cake of the day for $6.50 and also 10% off all meals to all caravan and RV owners.

I hope the moderators leave this post up and give us a hand up for our new business.

Thanks

Glenn and Jenny

G'day Glenn and Jenny,  and welcome you to the forum.  Plenty of great advice and folks on here.  Don't forget to try out the two games - Who is This in the I digress section and Pick This Place in the general section.  'Pick this place' is a great way to find new places to explore.   smile

Hope you do well in the endeavor.

Pete and Marion

Welcome to the gang Glenn and Jenny, enjoy here and out in the playground.

Although it sounds like you are staying put now, I'm sure other playground enjoyers will call in and say hi. I hope the free camp goes ahead. More towns should get on board and have something to bring the $$$$ into the town as it sure does. Caravan parks are not the only business in towns.

Keep Safe on the roads and out there.

Also a warm welcome from me Glenn and Jenny

When the free camp is up and running, perhaps you could put it in the free/budget camp section, under QLD

I am sure that many of us look in that section of the forum, when we know that we will be in a certain area

All the best for your new venture

From me I say thank you, for enticing the Grey Nomad travellers, to come to your region

Thank you for the warm welcomes, yes I will keep you informed when and if the free camp goes ahead.
Our take over date is fast approaching, very excited, also a little nervous, at our age this is a very big step.

Thanks
Glenn
