Hey. I recently swapped out my Toshiba Lappie Keyboard.
Comp tech wanted $75 to look. $130 to buy one and another $75 to install.
I got lappie number off back.
Net. Gave part no and You tube gave strip down.
$34 del to door from Sydney. Sat to thurs.
Double check there. Mine was the second model not first.
Thumbnail to remove top strip. 4 screws. Slide it back and out. Disconnect flat cable as you go.
About 4 mins to replace.
Give it a go. Dead simple.
This is a WHITE one on a Black lappie.
Actially a lot better for my old eyes.

I did one better than that Macka, I had an identical keyboard from a previous laptop. No screws, just clip out swap flat cables and clip back in. Due to sensitivity of my fingers, due to burns and grafts, I had son do the flat cables.
My hinges still fine (touch wood.
just drooping a bit to left.
But it sits on desk at home all it's life now.
Used to take O\S.
but last 4 yrs or so. Tablet and ph does fine.
I'll just givew it a decent burial and keep keyboard for next one.
These last 2 lappies have been Toshiba. with added 16gig Ram
and 120 SSD's.
Keep 2 terra ext Hard beside, for all prog's etc.
