Hello Andrew, a lot of priest's on here, if you want to tow something that is 200 odd kgs over go for it. drive sensible, service the van. insurance is not going to weigh everything if you have a prang. some of these people would never have rolled through a stop sign of snuck over 110 kph down hill. Anyway you have probably thought, why did I post or am I on a kids forum and you have gone for ever so won't read this post, or the comments to follow.

Fortunately Andrew's post was 5 years ago and he has not been back to read your bad advice.

How anyone could suggest someone new to towing is OK to tow an overweight van is ridiculous. New to towing and a heavy van is bad. New to towing and overweight as well is a recipe for disaster.

Or do we have the second troll on this thread?
