It was the sciatic nerve, lower back. Having never been to hospital before, I wasn't particularly concerned. The surgeons name is Stephen Lewis and he's a bloody nice bloke. Liked him straightaway, as he has a good firm handshake. Just to ensure he did a good job, prior to the op; I sent him a "Bob the Builder" tool kit. (Dinkum)
The op. took place in the Hollywood hospital, Perth. I didn't know what to expect, so, when Stephen asked if I had any question prior to the op; I said no. I'm glad I had no questions, as had I known what to expect, I would have been terrified.
Had to have assistance to go to the dunny. There I was on the cusp of 74, and being helped to go to bathroom by young women!!??
I kinda lost control of the body a couple of times, and those young women had to clean things up. That includes my "things"
Have to shove a lot of prescription pills into the body, and don't expect too have any problems, once I do some more gentle exercises.
Sorry to but in here, but pipes, have you thought of posting these health things in the 'Health and Wellbeing' section of the forum Much more suited to there and much easier to keep track of.
Cindy (Webmaster) has set the forum up in such a way to make it easy to find posts.
