Our camac tv has a good quality picture but the sound is DREADFUL. If the air con is on and the volume is turned up, well forget it the sound it is inaudible. Can anyone suggest a easy fix, limited space as tv is fixed over the fridge. Thank you
We have a Kogan TV in our van, it has a great picture but the sound is tinny much like yours at higher volumes. If yours has a headphone socket you could wire up a decent quality extension speaker with not much trouble. Just a suggestion.

We have a 23"Panasonic in the van. While the speakers are small and operate from the base of the unit I can't say they are tinny but certainly could do with a little more base effect.I agree with DD about extension speaker/s in your case. You may be able to patch int to the radio speaker system in the roof if you have them.
You could also look around for one of the lower priced Sound Bars that could be easily connected sometimes by blue tooth or wired and this could sit close, or attached to the TV.
I have ours wired through the Auxiliary of the 'van sound system.
This wire is passed through the cupboards etc. to the radio and plugged in there. It can't be seen and sounds great!
If you do it this way just make sure you turn the outside speakers off as I'm sure the neighbors don't need to hear what you are watching.
I have a UEC TV with the built in Vast decoder and it has a very tinny sound with very low volume levels.
My tv is mounted so it can swing out the kitchen window so we can watch it in the annexe.
I did as others have done and connected my tv to the van speakers through the radio aux plug for inside use but I found when using it outside I could select the outside speakers and it was ok except that the sound was quite loud inside the van as the selector does not isolate the inside speakers completely. This was annoying if one of us was inside and the other was watching tv outside.
To solve this I went and bought a set of computer speakers < $20 and I use these plugged in when watching tv outside.
Computer speakers arent Bose quality but they are much better than the ones in the tv set.

A very BIG THANK YOU to everybody for the suggestions. Followed your instructions, bought a JBL speaker and fitted to the tv with headphone cable to the aux outlet and now we have wonderful sound (can actually hear the news now - heaven)
