If you are concerned go to the 2$ shops and get plastic "crates" with plenty of holes and put items into these. Lets the air flow around /Through - cost less than $10-$20 to fill the whole fridge, which you won't need to do.

We sometimes travel with the fridge full. We have a little steel thing that clicks up when travelling to stop anything falling.

Non slip rubber all the way everywhere especially the fridge. So cheap. Love the idea of extras packing with wine cask bladder. Might start drinking wine instead of vodka ****tails

Sometimes the locking system on fridge is insufficient. I added a better system. Only when fridge door comes open ther is ever a problem

Not sure if anybody else has already mentioned these, but I have been using them for the past 2 years, and they really help to keep things in place inside the fridge.. Obviously keeping the doors close required different kind of latches..
