After much web surfing & multiple Youtube videos i cant find anything to help repair the plug arm that the black plug seal sits on.
It wont move back into its proper location. I have removed the plug & arm assembly, but the little arm the plug sits on has me baffled, any help would be appreciated.

For a start, I'm no expert on Thetford C200 toilets, but at least I have vast experience with other Thetford models. Reading your post I'm not sure where your problem lies. Is something broken? Do you have to replace a bit?
Each time I have to repair the dunny I first subject it to a full dose of Drano. The stuff in the orange bottle. Get it from the supermarket. The Drano dissolves all the built up deposits and allows each part to move freely. Like the little level indicator that is prone to stick.
If the bits are clean and move freely you may be able to be more specific about the actual problem. Just saying, don't take offense.
No offence taken Kev.
Reason i need to remove this arm is its permanently twisted stopping the plug from popping up into place to seal the tank off, it needs to be replaced.
I cant find out how its secured into the tank, thinking of borrowing a borascope to find out.

Looks fairly straightforward, the operating knob has forks that spring open inside the seal arm, the need squeezing together to remove the arm completely.

Video explains it fairly well.
Good video ...
Thetfords are really made to be worked on.
I'd take KevinC's advice & clean the thing up before starting though. Can't believe that the video was made with such a filthy cassette.
I've got excellent support from Thetford's Technical people when sorting a problem with my level indicator.
Go to www.caravansplus.com.au not only do they have all sorts of stuff for sale at great prices they also have spare parts diagrams and "How To" for the old Thunder boxes that you can view or download.

Ahh already watched this one, covers everything EXCEPT the small arm i'm having trouble with.
Went in to see my local "poo pan" specialist who showed me the replacement was not available anyway. It's held into place with a stainless screw which we removed & retwisted the arm to the right position with a heat gun.
All working as it should again.

Well I just went to replace the seal on my Thunder Can a Thetford C250 ?, anyway the one with orange bits, found out I didn't need to use my spare seal, the thing is held in by 6 or 7 screws, except mine had 2 holding it the plastic tabs had let go on the others, so a whole new slide unit is needed, $83 thankyou very much, thankfully we have 2 Thunder cans and since we will be down Canberra way next month can pick up the new bit from Caravansplus and save postage...................tried to glue it all back together but didn't want to play, getting old.
