Thetford C200

Hi

I am refurbishing my '84 Coaster Bus and have a couple of questions.

I want to put in a Thetford C200 toilet, does anyone know how much water it uses per flush?  Is one plumbed into the water system better than one that has it's own tank?  I carry about 95 litres of water on board.

The next question is about replacing the bifold door.  Has anyone done a door and if so what size did they use?  I have looked at (on the net) an Oddessy square cornered 1623 x 572mm.  This seems to be a good size, it's not much smaller that the original in height, but a bit narrower.

Any comments please

Thanks

the flush amount will depend how long you hold the button down. We have had both systems and prefer the separate water tank because in a water shortage you can use un-potable water for the loo especially as you only have 95lts to play with. I think our loo water storage tank holds about 10lts of fresh water and we can empty the loo at least twice maybe 3 times before having to refill it.

Hi rustybits.

I have twice tried to post some pictures and info. without success and now hopefully waiting on some help.
I will try again later.

Thanks for your input, I have found further info on the toilet, the flush tank holds 7 litres, and gets approximately 5 flushes per 2 litres (Thetford's figures).  That doesn't seem like a lot of water but it will all add to the weight, if I use the Coaster water tank I won't be adding water, just moving it around to the toilet waste tank.

Thanks for trying to post some pictures robol, hope you get there in the end.
