a great idea prior to the start of fire season which will start early this year, would be to find apps for the fire service in each state you might visit and load them on your phone or tablet, then each day during the fire season check the app in your area of activity especially if you are travelling.
current predictions for NSW are for a very high fire risk this year.

A good idea burning off before the Fire Season Macka, But like you say, if the Greenies get a bit of smoke in their eyes they cry,
I guess you will just have to wait until the day comes when a grass fire will take out some more poor Buggers like has happened before, and no doubt will happen again, as long as they can not see the danger and do something about it in time ,
Then you will be hard pressed to find a Greenie that will help to fight any fire, let along take any blame for the fire starting in the first place,
there should be some responsibility placed on their heads when they stop burn-offs, make the Buggers pay for the damaged caused !!!
