You should not be using photo hosting sites to display photos in forums. Each forum has its own hosting, use that. You have not lost your photos in Photobucket, just their links to any forum you linked them to. You can retrieve your photos and use the "Attach File(s)" button to repost them.

I have a heap of emoticons (smileys) on there that I post on forums (also backed up on my computer) and I have just been in to my account and in three steps saving each time I altered my name then changed my date of birth then altered my gmail address (I had to have a couple of goes at the email to get one they would accept) and now they can stick the account and keep their extortion.
