Country Adventure by Campervan

Hello to all.  Like many we are planning the country travels within Australia.  Our intention is to buy a new VW 340 plus Trakka.  We like the vehicle and it appears to suit our dreamed of purposes.  We still work but that is quite flexible.  We would not intend a working holiday just a calm relaxing holiday.  This is our introduction with more to come as our intended trip is July 2018.

G'day Zendo and welcome to the forum.  Don't forget to try the two ongoing games here - 'Who is This' in the 'I Digress' section and 'Pick this Place' in the 'General' Section - a great source to find new places to visit.

Hello Zendo and welcome. Sorry I can't help you with info on the Trakka, but just looked it up and it looks good to me. Something we found, if you need to set up and stash away your bedding is that sleeping bags are a good alternative, you don't have to get sheets down the sides of the fold down seat when setting up. Back in the 1980's we had a Kombie camper and now we have the motorhome but use the fold down lounge as our sleeping area and found that sleeping bags were much easier than trying to make up a bed each night. Just a thought. Cheers.
