Welcome to the gang JimMitch, enjoy here and out in the playground.
Whatever 'off road' caravan you decide on make sure your tug can tow it and all weights both tug and van are what you want. Don't take either over the plated weights.
Keep Safe on the roads and out there.

Welcome . Camper trailers are ideal with traveling distance . Especially middle to upper states . South in summer time . It's the extras that make things comfortable. Shower and toilet etc . Or should I say a bucket and spade ? Lol
G'day Jim Mitch and welcome to the forum. Don't forget to try the two ongoing games here - 'Who is This' in the 'I Digress' section and 'Pick this Place' in the 'General' Section - a great source to find new places to visit.
If you don't know the answer it isn't a dumb question - and sometimes there is more than one answer! definitely concur with Dougwe re weights as well.
And it's welcome from us two 2 JimMich
I would back up advice given already as weight is without doubt going to be the thing of the future for Vaners
Enjoy the planning stage .
