After some advise please, when we turn our diesel heater on start up, all lights on at the time flicker badly, to the point they need to be turned off for about 30secs, then things are back to normal. Then when heater is on, warming nicely, lights flick, just the once, in line with the tick noise which is the diesel pump.
Second
When the water pump is on, slowly and slightly pulsating as they sometimes do when not on full, again any lights on flicker, not bad but noticeable.
Same problem. When the water pump is running the LEDs flicker if all is running on battery. Been trying to solve this as it's rather annoying.
Start-up on the diesel heater may draw a bit more current that when it settles down.
Our A/C running via generator does similar on startup. Lots of startup current then settles down. Will trip the circuit breaker on the generator on cold sometimes. Have to turn everything off to start then once going we can turn everything else back on.
Sounds like a wiring problem. Somewhere in the circuit all your power is travelling down a common wire. That length of wire could be too thin or have a bad join in it. When the extra power is being drawn by the heater or pump the extra current causes an increase in voltage drop. As suggested above, relocate the wires to the heater so they are connected straight to the battery.
The other thing could be crook batteries. Does the problem happen when the battery charger is operating or only when there is no mains power connected to the battery?

Pumps 'n' heaters aren't the most power friendly, run dedicated wires from your bus bar to them and back.
