G'day all just an introduction. Am new to all this. Still working but looking at offroad van/hybrid, tare weight 2000kgs, ATM 2650kgs and ball weight 140.
I have purchased MQ Triton which has a 3100kg towing capacity. Would you think there would be any concerns ( excluding fuel usage ) with this set up.
Welcome to the gang Bill, enjoy here and out in the playground.
All sounds good to me. The only thing I would suggest and it is a biggy. Make sure you don't go over any listed weights including the ATM of 2650kgs. All weights are more important now than they were before. You could get booked if over. I have only heard of a couple of people and one had his vehicle towed away at his expence, meaning, his van also had to be towed. There's not a lot getting into trouble yet but won't be long IMO.

Not sure where you are from but in Vic all the Vicroads weigh bridges are now on all the time for you to drive over them to check your weights an excellent idea thanks Vicroads , I urge everyone to take advantage of this .

G'day Billancaz and welcome to the forum. Don't forget to try the two ongoing games here - 'Who is This' in the 'I Digress' section and 'Pick this Place' in the 'General' Section - a great source to find new places to visit.
Thks for the info Chiif, will certainly take it on board (as it is not to heavy ). Dont have this problem with the little lightweight camper trailer we have at the moment !
