The 29th of September is National Police Remembrance Day, a day to honour police officers who lost their lives in the line of duty and reflect on the dedicated service and bravery of all police officers #NPRD
I know many drivers express animosity to the Thin Blue Line - Put aside those feelings and remember that; they put their lives at risk every day and too many don't come home after a days work. Remember also there is a Police Legacy Branch in every State and Territory that assists the families of the fallen men and women who gave their all.

Possum, thanks for reminding us. These guys and gals go to work every day not knowing if they will come home at the end of their shift. They also don't know weather they will be beaten up and left with injuries they will have to carry for the rest of their lives. Also remember the loved ones left behind (the wives and little kids)
How many of us have said "I wouldn't do that job for quids"......
And while remembering the boys and girls in blue ... take a moment for the paramedics as well.
They too go to work every day not knowing if they will come home at the end of their shift. They also don't know whether they will be beaten up and left with injuries.
Emergency hospital personnel as well suffer violence, abuse and injuries.
It is an unfortunate indication of where our society has dropped to.
Cheers - John
