Flashback photos to 60's - cars and hotrods.

Found this link to the Newcastle Herald which has many photos of life in the 60's relating from everyday cars to hotrods.

Good Luck.

Great post Hako. Not only the cars but some of the sights of Newcastle way back when. Newcastle is one of my favourite places in all of Australia.

Mine too Dmaxer but then I'm biased, nowadays Lake Macquarie likes to call itself a seperate city but for me I have and always will live in Newcastle....we have the best beaches, the best lake, the best mountains, the best vineyards, the best football teams (too bad they don't win very often) and best of all we are 160 kms away from Sydney biggrinbiggrinbiggrin

Didn't want to go that far Dmaxer there are a lot of great people spread around Oz who are just as biased about where they come from as I am - that's what makes travelling so interesting nothing like the friendly rivalry and banter at happy hour.

Bit harder to do it over here - can't buy beer without a license and they have the habit of speaking in Arabic (funny that). I am becoming accustomed to being told "inshallah" when I ask how long is this going to take biggrinbiggrin couldn't meet friendlier people though - except maybe in Newcastle.

Newcastle recently ranked No.8 in the global top 10 up and coming cruise destinations because of it's "beautiful beaches, thriving bar scene and access to top class vineyards " don't tell those down the road though to them we are just that dirty industrial city that you bypass when heading north.
