Hi everyone, just signed up we are new to motorhoming!

Hi everyone, we recently purchased a nice Coaster but unfortunately it wasn't suitable for us. We sold it and currently looking to replace it. We are looking at a 2001 Sunliner Sprinter Eurobenz. Hopefully it will be suitable for our needs. Can anyone out there advise me on what to look for as far as possible issues or problems with these model (Sprinters 413 CDI)

Thanks in advance.

G'day Garyolive and welcome to the forum.  Don't forget to try the two ongoing games here - 'Who is This' in the 'I Digress' section and 'Pick this Place' in the 'General' Section - a great source to find new places to visit. We're 'vanners so cant help re motorhome.

Welcome to the gang garyolive, enjoy here and out in the playground.

The only thing I can say is give it a lot of thought before you go ahead with it as in my mind, remembering Uncle Al sometimes gets up before me, I can't see a lot of difference between a Coaster and a Sprinter, sorry. The Sprinter would be shorter I spose. Just my thoughts.

Keep Safe on the roads and out there.

A warm welcome from me also garyolive

I have seen plenty of Mercedes Sprinter motorhomes out there, but mine is a cheaper Fiat Ducato type, and not as good as a Mercedes

If you do not get an answer to your question within a few days
Copy and paste into the General section, as not many people look into this section

Hi and welcome. May I suggest that you hire a motorhome similar to what you would like to buy and try it out. Our Sprinter is a 2009 third hand ex-rental so know nothing about what you are looking at. We had trouble with the EGR valve and had it replaced. We also have trouble with cupboard catches and need to replace some of these at some stage. On a whole though we are happy with our motorhome. Cheers.
