First Aid

For those interested the Australian Red Cross have a free app available for androids.  May also be available for iPhone but I'm unsure. This is a great app that saves taking another book.  And it seems to be designed those that have never been trained. Given grey nomads often travel to remote areas it could be a life saver.

For whatever reason, I do not have an android or iPhone, oldbloke

I certainly agree that a bit of First Aid training/information is better than none at all

I have collected a few St John First Aid books over the years, but would not be able to put my hand on one, at a minutes notice

So thanks for posting this information

The problem with relying on printed matter, is some information becomes dated when newer techniques and resources are developed and as services change. If you can't use an app, toss out all but the oldest of your printed First Aid books and booklets and better still buy the latest available.
