Gday. This is pure drivel so if you are waiting to be enlightened about something wonderful I suggest you stop reading now ! For you other lot like me and as its a pleasant Sunday morning and the newspaper was frankly not worth reading I was wondering if any one else is like me insofar as to indulge in silly whimsical type goings on in our retired lifestyle. One of mine is this .....Our first journey in our current van was up to Camerons Corner from Echuca.Well we got to Tibooburra after a horrific road trip from Broken Hill and as we got directed to our site the lady forgot about a post and rail section of fence! 2 mins later I was standing beside my van looking at my rear ensuite toilet and washing machine thru a bloody great hole in the wall and the entire rear wall was open at the bottom 600ml .To get home I simply found a big tree and backed the van up against the tree and kept backing till I pushed the wall back in !I mean how much more damage could I do? I settled down later and everyone around said lets have drink so I had a lot !Next morning I was undoing the hose on the A frame and I noticed a small rock jammed in the wire mesh frame I made to hold fire wood etc.it was well and truly stuck so I said so what . That was early 2012 its now 2017 and many many thousands of kays later and yesterday I was ptting one of those magnetic boxes under the van with a spare door key in it and I noticed my little rock is still safely snuggled into its place of dwelling.I had a little chat to him in regard to all the places we have been ,he was rather quiet however he seemed content nevertheless. So my wife and I look forward to our next adventure comfortable in the knowledge that we are not alone .Cheers everyone .
I think pet rock needs a better pic than that one........get a bit closer and perhaps saturate the colour even a name would make rock feel more at home

Sounds like the ideal pet to travel with, quiet, no feeding, no maintenance and no mess to clean up.....
Look after him/her, good pets are hard to come by.
