My husband are very excited to be on the verge of acquiring our first motorhome, a Trakka Torino. From what I have read, a frequent comment is not to go overboard in purchasing items that you will never use. Where can I start looking to find a basic list so that when it is ours, we are ready to go?
Personally I'd wander into a caravan park, stroll down the rows till you find a motorhome about the same size of your new one and then ask the owner who I can assure you will be more than willing to provide advice from the coalface. In our van we failed to follow the KISS principle and have a pile of stuff that really was a waste of money. Also we find now that if we don't have a particular item (like a 240v heater), we'll just buy it in whatever town we are visiting even though we may pay more than in the big smoke.
